They provide free, confidential support for anyone affected by the death of a baby or pregnancy loss, work to improve maternity and bereavement care, and fund research to help save babies’ lives.\n\n\n\nAn organisation that is such an important lifeline in someone’s life and we feel that we have a great opportunity to give something back to help support their ongoing works.\n\n\n\nThe charity match will take place on Saturday the 22nd of August 2026 at between 10am and 4:30pm with fly fishing at Loch Ochiltree and bait fishing on Fyntalloch.\n\n\n\nRegistration time for both lochs – 0900-0945 within the boathouse at Loch Ochiltree – once registered and briefed, bait anglers will travel round to Fyntalloch.\n\n\n\n£20 entry fee on the day.\n\n\n\nThis event includes bonus cash prizes for catching tagged fish and is accompanied with our raffle.\n\n\n\nCompetitors are encouraged to bring a donation for the raffle table if they can!\n\n\n\nNo requirement to prebook, just turn up, pay in, and fish.\n\n\n\nNow, with any charity event comes the plea ……. we are looking for any person/businesses who would like to support the event by way of donation of prizes/services for the match or raffle prizes, monetary donations or sponsoring of tagged fish (£20 per fish).\n\n\n\nIf you are interested in doing so, please contact the page via messenger or speak directly to any committee member – all support is gratefully received.\n\n\n\nwhat3words location for navigation to Loch Ochiltree are:\n\n\n\npower.balanced.dares\n\n\n\nWe look forward to seeing as many people there as possible!\n\n\n\nPlease note – we will be advertising tables for our Charity birthday bash for 10/10/26 at the Crown Hotel, Newton Stewart in the next week or so!
