The Glentrool Hive is a multi-purpose centre for local events and activities situated in the heart of Glentrool. Ran by the Glentrool and Bargrennan Community Trust, they endeavour to combat the depopulation and deprivation of their region with the promotion of the local area in all its cultural and environmental diversity whilst providing a focus for social and economic growth for the people of the community. Boasting a public lounge area, wheelchair accessible facilities and halls for hire, the Hive is available for a variety of uses and regularly hosts educational and cultural events. The Glentrool Hive is also home to an Arts and Crafts Gallery which is open from Tuesday until Saturday from 11am until 3pm. Here you can find an amazing array of locally crafted items.
