2026 All Saints’ Episcopal Church ‘Summer Music’ concert

World class Scottish harper Wendy Stewart to headline the 2026 All Saints’ Episcopal Church ‘Summer Music’ concert on 4 July at 4pm

Admission: free of charge, voluntary donations welcomed

Come and try out playing the harp at 3pm – no previous musical experience needed!

Not only will leading Scottish harper, and inspirational teacher Wendy Stewart be performing at the All Saints’ concert with members of the Dumfries and Galloway (D&G) Branch of the Clàrsach (ancient small harp of Scotland and Ireland) Society, she will also be offering a fun-guaranteed bonus an hour before the concert begins: at 3pm, she will be giving visitors the opportunity to try playing a harp themselves. No musical experience is needed and harps are provided.

In addition to Wendy and the harpers playing at the 4pm concert, talented members of the All Saints’ congregation will perform. All Saints’ is blessed with folk armed with an abundance of musical abilities, ranging from guitar, violin, euphonium, piano, organ, and voice. There’s something in the concert for everyone. The event concludes with a delicious, free strawberry cream tea.

“We invite everyone to come and share in the music and cream teas,” says All Saints’ Priest-in-Charge, Reverend Canon Stuart Bain.

All Saints’ Episcopal Church (DG8 6RB), Challoch, is situated on the A714 Girvan Road, two miles north of Newton Stewart.
